We all face difficult moments that can test our strength and leave a deep impression on us. These experiences can make us feel overwhelmed and weighed down, alone, and It can be tough to know where to turn for help, especially when we’re dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges. I understand that the process of seeking therapy can be daunting and overwhelming. It can be difficult to share our deepest and most personal thoughts and emotions with someone we don’t know.   I aim to create a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, validated, and supported.

I am a firm believer in practicing what we put out there. I value healing not only in my personal life, but I strive to empower others to overcome obstacles and lead meaningful lives. Despite facing various challenges with mental health in my own life growing up, I have gained valuable insights that have helped me on my healing journey. My experiences in law enforcement have taught me about the long-lasting effects of trauma on individuals and communities. This has inspired me to commit to a lifelong pursuit of helping others through their own healing journeys by learning invaluable skills and engaging in self-discovery.

My focus is on your well-being. I will work with you to achieve greater self-awareness and personal growth and develop new skills and strategies to help you navigate life more effectively. By providing a supportive and nonjudgmental space, we can work together to help you overcome your challenges and achieve your goals.

My approach: A Safe Place to Explore

It’s important to remember that growth and healing are always possible, no matter what challenges we may face. Therapy provides an excellent opportunity for us to identify and develop our inherent strengths, increase our sense of competence, purpose, and serenity, and cultivate a sense of self-compassion and curiosity. With these tools, we can learn to approach life’s challenges with greater ease and resilience. It’s important to keep in mind that the skills we develop during therapy can be applied beyond the counseling setting, promoting our long-term well-being and success. By building practical, accessible toolboxes, we can continue to grow and thrive even after therapy has ended.

As an experienced practitioner, I have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds who have presented a range of complex issues. I possess diverse training in different modalities and believe in collaborating with my clients to identify the treatment approach that best suits their unique needs. My training includes:

Lastly, I have experience working in law enforcement as a first responder, which has given me a unique perspective on the impact of trauma on individuals and communities.

My Life Outside Of Work

Long pier during sunset

Throughout my life, I have been blessed with diverse experiences that have molded me into who I am today. I strongly believe in the power of personal growth and lifelong learning. My goal is not only to expand my knowledge but also to use it to help others and my clients. Life is full of opportunities to learn and grow. I believe that by embracing personal growth and lifelong learning; we can become the best version of ourselves and benefit others in the process.

When I’m not working, I cherish spending time with my loved ones and pets. My family and I are passionate about traveling and exploring various cultures and countries. We have been to many parts of the world, and I always find it fascinating to learn about different ways of life. Exploring new cultures and ways of life allows us to broaden our horizons and leads to a deeper understanding of ourselves and others.

When I’m not exploring, I love to be outdoors and immerse myself in the breathtaking Colorado scenery through hiking and running. Yoga and meditation are also great ways to unwind and take care of myself. Additionally, I am passionate about leadership and community. Serving on the board of Delta Kappa made me realize the importance of these values in mental health. Since then, I have become an active member of several local groups. Through these groups, I have learned and grown alongside others while advocating for meaningful causes.
