She/her/hers

Are you struggling with challenges that impact your ability to stay present, motivated, or connected in your relationships and daily life? Perhaps you’re feeling lonely, depressed, anxious, grieving, or dealing with emotional issues related to women’s health. Are you a first responder or veteran facing difficulties in finding balance? Is there conflict within your relationships? Have you been affected by domestic violence, trauma, or transgenerational trauma that may be impacting your family? Is your teen experiencing struggles?

As a dedicated specialist, I provide a supportive and therapeutic environment tailored to the needs of teens, individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s complexities. My extensive experience allows me to work with a diverse range of clients and challenges that extend to anxiety, infidelity, sexual wellness, postpartum, grief and loss, challenges with ongoing flashbacks or trauma, complexities of parenting, neurodivergence, and challenges that hinder our motivation in our daily life. Together, we can address intricate issues in a safe and empathetic environment.

In today’s rapidly changing and often overwhelming world, it is common for both adults and adolescents to feel challenged by emotional and mental health struggles. I aim to cultivate a genuine therapeutic alliance—creating a sanctuary where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. This environment is essential for building trust and encouraging open exploration of the issues at hand.

I prioritize personal healing and growth, dedicating myself to empowering individuals to overcome their obstacles. My background informs my practice; having navigated my mental health challenges such as anxiety, women’s issues, and relationship difficulties, as well as my experience as a first responder, I have witnessed the transformative power of healing and made it my life’s mission. My insights shape my therapeutic approach. As a mother of a toddler with Autism and teenage girls, I understand the intricate dynamics and pressures involved in supporting adolescents and parents as they navigate the ripple effects of childhood experiences and societal expectations.

Additionally, my experience in law enforcement has uniquely positioned me to work effectively with first responders and veterans. This background has deepened my understanding of the trauma that can persist and affect both the individuals involved and their communities. My firsthand knowledge of the stressors faced by those in service roles fuels my commitment to assist others on their healing journeys, helping them develop essential coping skills while engaging in profound self-discovery.

My approach: A Safe Place to Explore

I am dedicated to enhancing individuals’ overall well-being through a collaborative and personalized therapeutic experience that respects and embraces each person’s unique life journey. The therapeutic process is structured to help clients identify and tackle specific challenges they face in their lives. Together, we will establish meaningful, achievable goals designed to foster personal growth and resilience. The therapy sessions take place in a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to feel safe and open as they explore their thoughts and feelingsConcept body, mind, Soul, spirit

The approach to therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles; it’s a transformative adventure that focuses on discovering and harnessing individual strengths. As clients delve into their inner worlds, they can gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and their interpersonal dynamics. This journey is aimed at enhancing self-confidence and developing insight into personal relationships, ultimately equipping individuals with the tools necessary for lasting wellness and emotional stability.

With a rich background in mental health therapy, I  service individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, guiding them through the complexities of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I ama certified Trauma Therapist and a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, which signifies a commitment to specialized training and effective treatment modalities. They utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique known for its effectiveness in treating trauma and PTSD, as well as Internal Family Systems, which helps individuals understand and harmonize different parts of themselves. Additionally, I employ Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, focusing on improving emotional connections and communication in relationships.

This comprehensive approach ensures that clients receive tailored support that addresses their specific needs and encourages lasting personal growth and wellness.

My Life Outside Of Work

Long pier during sunset

I love diving into personal growth and lifelong learning—it’s a journey I cherish and one that helps me empower others along the way. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, whether we’re trying new foods or exploring exciting new places together. My passion for travel allows me to connect with different cultures, which enriches my perspective as a therapist. I also find joy and tranquility in nature, practicing yoga, running, and meditating to keep my life balanced. Giving back to the community is important to me, too; I advocate for mental health awareness and support for those in need. I’m proud to have received the Value of Life Award in Colorado for my efforts!
